Main Focus
My name is Lotte van Doeselaar, originally I come from Leiden, the Netherlands, where I completed my masters in Biomedical Sciences and Clinical Neuropsychology. Currently I am working in Mathias Schmidt's Lab where I am investigating the role of the hippocampus in susceptibility to (early life) stress, with a special focus on the FKBP5 gene. For this I am combining behavioral testing in genetic mouse models with molecular techniques.
