Main Focus
My name is Srivaishnavi Loganathan and I come from South India. I did my Bachelor's in Genetic engineering in India and Master's in Molecular Biology in Taiwan. Currently I am working in Dr. Jan Deussing's lab where my research mainly focuses on unraveling the mechanisms underlying Cav1.2 calcium channels in the brain with a special focus on the hippocampus and prefrontal cortex. To achieve this I use a combination of behavioral testing in mouse models and molecular techniques.
