100 years of Max Planck Institutes of Psychiatry and Neurobiology reflect the development of psychiatry in Germany in the twentieth century: from the mere observation of individuals with behavioral disorders to moleculargenetic examinations of the brain.

Symposium
Outstanding scientists illustrate at our symposium in Martinsried on 13th and 14th March 2017 how far research has come in the past 100 years. We are looking forward to lectures by the following speakers:

Anniversary ceremony,  March 14th - invited guests only.

Exhibition
In the accompanying exhibitions at both institutes, guests and visitors will learn more about methods and achievements as well as about the history of the institutes. The exhibition is open to the public at the Max Planck Institute for Psychiatry, Kraepelinstraße 2 from 15 March to 3 April 2017, Monday to Friday between 9 am and 2 pm.
